It's already September and school
is back in session.
I've been working on hair clippies.
I have several new designs.

Just wanted you to know that the owl hairclip was 8 year old granddaughter approved! She loved it!

Worked on embroidery today. Wanting to finish up on the first set of Owl snap hairclips. I will post a picture as soon as they are finished.

It's an exteremely hot day predited today
with very high humidity, looks like a perfect day to stay in and catch up on some sewing! Stay safe and have a great day.

I started to do my machine embroidery again.
I have some new designs. This owl is such a
cutie! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with
her yet. Need to get a new camera...I can't
seem to take a clear picture with my phone.

I broke 2 machine needles yesterday!! Needed to step back and take a break! I also need to go buy some new needles.

I spent the last 2 days babysitting 2 of my granddaughters. Didn't get any sewing done, but thanks to my 8 year old grandaughter I got 2 orders for sunhats from the next door neighbor for her granddaughters. Of course she brought them over to check out fabrics for the special order. Thanks Haiven! So means I must get busy to get them done. I am planning to work on them this week-end. Can't wait to get them finished and post pics before I deliver them.

I went toa family reunion today. My cousin was also celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary( Congratulations Sandy and Mark). It was so good seeing and visiting with family.

I've been busy with outside work and garden.
I've also been going thru things that have been
stored. My daughter helped yesterday.
Excited to find a lot of stashed fabric and other items I can use for
sewing and crafts. Wow where to put everything?
I need to get busy sewing and use my new (old) finds!

Change of plans..no sewing tonight. My 8 year old granddaughter called and wanted to stay the night.
I love these opportunities..sewing can wait!

Last day of May! It has cooled off considerably. Had a great day with my
daughter and granddaughters yesterday.  I am going to water garden and plan to work on sewing this evening. Have a great day!

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day week-end. Mine was filled with family,celebrations, picnic,
and swimming. Now it is back to reorganizing the area back to sewing area!
Then get back to work on those diaper covers, burp cloths and sunhats that I started before the week-end.
My granddaughter Saige loves her toy that I made. She is just starting to hold onto things and loves the fabric. Need to add more of these to the list. Have a great day.

The sunhat #2 fits perfect. Now to get a picture

I just finished a sunhat ( #2) the first pattern I used was way too small!
It really looks good on the porcelain baby doll I made some years ago.
Saige is my model..Hope it fits and she can wear it. Need to get a picture of it
soon..her Mommy needs to take one when she comes next and tries it on.
I love making things that my granddaughter can use.
